The Regional Sales Trainer Role
As a Regional Sales Trainer, you are responsible for the effective delivery of sales training curricula and providing individual coaching to sales personnel as well as sales training support to sales management and field sales teams. You are a key contributor, ensuring that all sales professionals have the knowledge and skills to deliver on business objectives.
- Ensures the maximum effectiveness of the sales force by developing and delivering sales training curricula, reflecting in-depth knowledge of the company's mission and values, and the DM product and consultative sales, selling skills.
- Aligns training activities with the company's goals and objectives to ensure achievement of revenue, growth, and sales efficiency targets.
- Provides training resources and assistance to sales management, field support personnel, and sales operations.
- Conducts training needs analysis through attending sales calls, observing sales encounters and application of best practices, analyzing sales results, and consulting with sales management.
- Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training programs and knowledge transfer.
- Makes recommendations for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness through refinement of training programs, content, and/or methods, and the development and implementation of new approaches and techniques.
- Assists with the development of sales training programs, as needed.
- Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to form a seamless integration of sales training delivery.
- Requires up to 40% travel.
- This is a remote position, and we're open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
You will be successful in this role if:
- Sales training experience and knowledge of the orthodontic industry and products is preferred.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, processes, and methodologies, including methods and techniques used in training assessment, design, development, and measurement.
- Learning Management System administration knowledge.
- Startup experience.
