This position owns and delivers the Governance of the SLED E-Rate Program, its associated projects while also managing a team of Retention Account Managers (RAM's) in support of delivering the required outcomes to retain and grow $9M in annual revenue. This includes leadership to strategically plan, manage, and deliver all aspects to retain and grow revenue across the program, crossing multiple disciplines. This role drives operational excellence to maximize funding success and customer satisfaction. Key success factors for this role are a proven track record and passion for leading and delivering on revenue growth. This role and all roles reporting to it are critical to the success of Lumen and our Customers service delivery experience, therefore the role holder must be customer focused, independently motivated and take full ownership of results, with the ability to operate in a challenging environment with competing priorities.
Retain and grow E-Rate business of $9M in annual revenue
Ensure adherence to Federal E-Rate regulations, including LCP Bidding and Installation SLA (by E-Rate Calendar Year)
Synthesize disparate information into clear recommendations, actions, and decisions.
Ensure that multiple projects within your program are on schedule, high quality, within budget, and meet the measures of success (MOS) and the high-level achievements (HLA).
Identify and analyze all risks associated with each outcome.
Oversee and mitigate risks across multiple technical functional lanes to ensure that project(s) meet agreed upon MOS and HLAs.
Provide leadership in critical project solutions and negotiation.
Manage overall contract compliance and delivery of program requirements to the customer and Lumen (monthly deliverables, contract modifications, program management reviews).
Establish and coordinate overall schedule and deliverables, ensuring the program is operating within established goals and all contract requirements are met.
Manage and provide guidance on company policies to a team spread across several locations across the United States.
Ensures timely and accurate processing of all orders received for multiple BU's in both Local and National space, constantly driving for greater efficiency and accuracy with the team and with impacted departments and business units.
Facilitates the resolution of internal and external conflicts timely while striving to improve customer experience and sustain revenue.
Recruitment, training and onboarding of new team members.
Be a point of contact and liaise with internal stakeholders and clients on quotation and order placement escalations as required.
Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues and proactively monitor risks to prevent these developing into issues.
Partner with Public Sector Sales and other key dependent teams to ensure orders flow through and achieve key customer delivery milestones from customer signature date.
Provide monthly reporting and metrics on the output and performance of the team.
Implement strategic initiatives and process improvements meeting with key stakeholders regularly to review feedback on the team's work.
Advanced understanding of business line and a growing understanding of the overall company and the competitive environment.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Typically, 5+ years related people manager experience or Equivalent
1+ years previous supervisory/leadership experience or Equivalent
Self-starter with strong governance expertise.
Experience in leading and managing direct reports as well as a schedule delivering milestones and tasks of cross-functional teams, implementing multiple strategic, complex projects with successful results.
Experience in defining and documenting processes and driving continuous improvement.
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges $76,325 - $101,766 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $80,147 - $106,859 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $83,969 - $111,951 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
