Overview

Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of FIC product suite and financing to institutional clients, including banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Corporate client coverage in Mexico
  • Develop strong relationships at all, senior and junior, levels
  • Build strong relationships with partners, senior PMs, principals, and capital markets professionals at the clients and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base.
  • Develop connections with global institutional clients across the firm
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities for the sector
  • New business development, including new product/markets/geographies
  • Drive sales growth by creating new/developing existing relationships
  • Generate new revenue opportunities
  • Think strategically about the business, stay on top of market themes/trends
  • Client lifecycle – support all aspects (CLM, KYC, AML, AFC and other client and risk related forums)

Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Fixed Income products and local client coverage
  • Deep track record with local client base
  • Strong relevant market knowledge and related technical skills
  • Experience in managing/supervising a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating various DB teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player - anticipating and solving problems for the group
  • Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase DB services
  • Detail oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive work environment
  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • Able to be a senior role model for the junior population
  • Able to understand and interpret market trends
  • Able to work in a high paced environment under pressure
