Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Risk Management Solutions ("RMS") Corporate foreign exchange ("FX") and Rates Sales is a regional team with sales people located in London and different European locations, including Madrid.

The desk is responsible for structuring and marketing FX, interest rate, cross-currency, inflation and commodity derivative hedges to corporate clients, supranational entities, and private and infrastructure equity funds. Clients include multi-national investment grade and high yield companies across a variety of sectors including healthcare, consumers, financial sponsors, technology, media and telecom, industrials, infrastructure and energy. The desk is focused primarily on risk management associated with debt financing, asset/liability mix, project finance, and mergers & acquisitions.

To achieve further growth in the Spanish and Portuguese market the team requires an additional junior coverage resource.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Actively support the acquisition of new clients for the Spain, Portugal and Greece large caps FX and Rates desk and the wider Deutsche Bank franchise
• Maintain existing corporate client relationships & look for opportunities to increase revenue
• Support team members across a variety of workstreams, including KYC, pitching, credit approval and trade execution
• The person would closely work with internal stakeholders, including Trading, Structuring, Corporate and Investment bankers, Research and other partners to provide holistic client solutions

Your Skills and Experiences

• Prior exposure to sales, sales support or another role within financial markets, or similar experience in Investment Banking / Structured Finance
• Solid understanding of financial markets, FX and fixed income asset classes and the broader macro-economic environment
• Strong quantitative and technical ability
• Strong relationship management and problem solving skills, and a highly motivated, self-starter attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Spanish and English. Other European languages are a plus
• Ability to react quickly and efficiently to different queries and events in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
