Salesperson - VP Hire

Location: Mumbai, India

Salesperson is responsible for generating detailed product knowledge and cultivating client relationships in order to create a sales strategy in line with the bank's strategy.

Work includes:

  • Developing a deep understanding of client needs and expectations by ensuring regular contact and constantly researching appropriate sales solutions
  • Building working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations to ensure effective end to end client/product delivery
  • Operating within the relevant legal, regulatory and bank policy requirements
  • Identifying and contacting prospective clients and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business

Your key responsibilities

  • Pricing and executing Corporate and Institutional client flows
  • Identify the risk management opportunities both onshore and outbound and increase the overall product density.
  • Ideate new revenue themes in flows and derivatives
  • Responsible for efficient execution, and pre and post trade activities
  • Continuous exploration of overall platform enhancements with emphasis on flow automation
  • Client engagement - Market share acquisition.
  • 'Home of Best Fit' – ensuring that strategic processes are performed in the most efficient and cost effective location Regulatory & audit interaction – support leadership team in ensuring that regulatory and audit requests are managed professionally and diligently

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge of client landscape, regulatory landscape, and product landscape.
  • Knowledge of genesis of Client flows (i.e. Export, Import, Dividend, Balance sheet exposure both onshore and outbound etc )
  • Team player, willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team.
  • Creative personality. Innovative track record.
  • Strong networking / communication skills
  • 'Can do' positive attitude
  • Quick learner
