A Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Business Development team by coordinating core activities, streamlining sales processes, maintaining accurate and accessible data, and ensuring excellent client service. They help the team meet deadlines and contribute to achieving sales goals efficiently. This role demands attention to detail, a strong understanding of sales tools, and the ability to enhance team productivity while maintaining high-quality service standards. Their contributions are vital to the overall success of the Business Development team. This role is an in-office position and reports to the Senior Director of Business Development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as sales coordination leader across Enterprise and Education verticals ensuring all activities associated with sales processes, execution and reported are adhered to.
• Manage and maintain sales databases (Salesforce) and tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Review current sales pipeline, in conjunction with business development team, to ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales pipeline.
• Build and maintain all pipeline reporting to be provided in weekly summaries to executive team.
• Ensure the timely and successful setup of new customers with a focus on delivery of our services in partnership with the Business Development team.
• Support the team in preparing client quotes, reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and tracking follow-ups.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project deadlines and sales targets.
• Support role in the continuous efforts of the department to improve the operational and financial effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to thrive in a start-up environment (fast pace, minimal support, get things done attitude).
• Bachelors Preferred but not required with experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once with exceptional organization, detail, and time-management skills
• Previous experience in sales support or operations is a plus.
