Sales Operations & Business Development Intern

The Sales Operations & Business Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the Sales Operations and Inside and field sales teams through a variety of tasks and responsibilities. In addition, this role would be partially customer-facing with the opportunity to call on potential customers. It is intended for someone that is interested in a potential sales career. In this role you will have the opportunity to touch all stages and facets of the selling process (prospecting, data analytics, customer interaction, documentation).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Research and qualify potential sales leads
  • Leverage project management skills to drive a multitude of pre-sale and post-sale activities
  • Analyze a variety of sales data points
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and other teams to enhance the sales process
  • Learning about the company, our products and the sales organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current 3rd year/junior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited four-year institution in business, marketing or similar major
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel functions: PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time and project management skills
  • Interest in a career in sales, sales operations and/or sales training
  • Previous experience with Tableau, SharePoint or CRM tools a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 - 23.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
