The Donaldson internship program provides innovative students with meaningful, hands-on experience in a collaborative industry environment. Through real-world projects, mentorship, and development opportunities, we aim to support career growth and build a talent pipeline aligned with our values and goals.

Internships take place at various locations throughout the United States, during a 10-12-week period.

As a Strategic Sales Intern, you will be a key member of our Strategic Sales Team within our Mobile Equipment Solutions Aftermarket division. This role is ideal for someone that is self-driven and a dynamic worker with the strong ability to multitask and manage time. This role is part inside sales support and part project management, working in lockstep with our team of National Account Managers. On any given day, this role will manage various projects and work with several of our teams, including Strategic Accounts, Customer Service, Field Sales, Product Development, Order Management, and Finance. Potential projects include:

  • Strategic accounts: Assist in building competitive cross-reference tool
  • Data management: Pull sales data, coordinate complex pricing programs
  • Customer records: Review & update existing CRM system

This is an exciting opportunity on a great team, with potential for future employment within one of our sales teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team by supporting daily activities, preparing materials, and helping ensure smooth coordination across projects and accounts.
  • Maintain sales records by keeping data, contact lists, and documentation organized and accurate.
  • Support customer and partner interactions by participating in meetings, calls, or events, and assisting with follow-up activities.
  • Contribute to team insights by gathering and summarizing information to help the sales team identify opportunities and track progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current junior/3rd year undergraduate enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00-27.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
