The Sales Development team is responsible for connecting top merchants across the US and Canada to our local outside sales team. This team consists of Onshore and Offshore Sales Development Reps who support front-line salespeople in local markets across North America. This team is instrumental in the acquisition of new customers for the DoorDash Restaurant business and focuses solely on strategic top-of-funnel outreach.
This Vendor SDR Manager (T6) role supports the rapid growth that we're seeing within the Sales Development Team. To start, the Vendor SDR Manager will focus on assisting Vendor Sales and Onshore Sales Leaders in launching new teams and accelerating new hire ramp. Because of this, the Vendor SDR Manager must be very adaptable and shift quickly, as well as work easily with multiple team members and international vendors. The Vendor SDR Manager will support SMB PreSale (Inside, Outside, CORE, Strategic) functions, so it's helpful to have insight into those areas or be willing to learn. SDR Managers assume a number of duties as assigned by their direct manager. The Vendor SDR Manager's direct manager (Sr Manager) leads all of our international BPO partners, while also leading the Vendor SDR Manager who may support other sales managers in their launch or growth needs. This role is ideal for someone looking to learn and grow quickly in the vendor sales arena.
