Develop strong client relationships and build strong credibility with clients and in particular C-levels client representatives.
Visualize the clients' problem resolution and potential future business benefits through sales workshops and meetings.
Work closely with the DC Solutions team to devise solutions as per client expectations and requirements.
Build customer relationships for the purpose of business development and sales.
Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in the Datacentre industry.
Work with other sales and account managers to identify and develop opportunities and drive growth.
Set-up meetings to track updates with external clients as well as partnerships key stakeholders in order to effectively manage day-to-day interactions with key strategic partners.
Review deal proposals, in conjunction with Senior Management in order to ensure profitable partnerships are clearly linked to value creation opportunities.
Actively participate in projects and assignments in order to broaden exposure, build relationships and understand policies and practices at the work place.
Work closely with Legal and develop contractual agreement terms and conditions with selected partners while negotiating the best terms for du across all contractual areas and vetting the content of contracts.
Review deal proposals, in conjunction with Senior Management, to ensure profitable partnerships, linked to clear value creation opportunities.
Develop and implement analytical, reporting and financial models related to operational and tactical execution of all work (e.g. due diligence requirements, processes, documentation, financial/statistical analysis) in support of commercial business models and profitability analysis to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or any relevant field
Experience:
Minimum 5 – 8 years' experience in related work area, with strong track record on the Datacentre targeted market.
Deep and up-to-date awareness of industry-wide hyperscale and retail colocation customer strategies, technology drivers, and SLA's will be essential.
Proficiency in developing PowerPoint presentations and Excel models.
Skills:
Experience in working with senior management to lead Datacentre sales conversations.
Must have experience of working in an ICT service focused environment with background ideally in a Datacentre background with focus on IT solutions, networking, infrastructure, and cloud/smart solutions.
Demonstrate independent problem solving and decision-making skills.
An excellent communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level.
Commercially aware with solid business development and financial management skills.
Proven capacity to effectively manage complex proposal development processes.
Demonstrated achievement in the design and implementation of proposal documents.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex tenders, precise scheduling and multiple and shifting priorities.
Sales hunter, able to build new business network from scratch and strong coordination and influencing skills.
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
Language proficiency in English and Arabic preferable.
