What you'll get to do:
This internship is ideal for someone who's fascinated by the intersection of data, customer journey strategy, and sales operations. You'll play a key support role in maintaining clean systems, tracking pipeline engagement, and optimizing the way we connect with leads. This is a hands-on opportunity to explore how marketing and sales align through automation, segmentation, and lifecycle management.
Sales Intern Key Responsibilities:
- Support email nurture sequences and lifecycle tracking. Assist with the setup, testing, and QA of email nurture sequences designed to move leads through our sales pipeline. Ensure emails are triggered correctly, data is flowing as expected, and engagement metrics (like open/click rates) are monitored for ongoing optimization.
- Assist with segmentation based on behavior and lifecycle stage. Help organize and refine contact lists within the CRM by lifecycle stage, engagement activity, and campaign behavior. You'll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that leads are in the right buckets for timely and relevant outreach.
- Track and report on engagement. Monitor how contacts are interacting with nurture campaigns — including email opens, clicks, and form submissions — and flag drop-off points or patterns in behavior. You'll assist in creating visibility into where leads are stalling and where re-engagement tactics are needed.
- Tag and organize CRM data. Ensure all leads are tagged correctly to support reporting, lead qualification, and campaign targeting. You'll help maintain CRM hygiene and provide key inputs to support lead scoring and prioritization.
- Support lead scoring and qualification efforts. Collaborate with the sales team to review lead activity and assist in evaluating lead quality based on scoring models. Your insights will help inform which leads are sales-ready and which need further nurturing.
- Contribute to pipeline reporting. Assist in gathering data to identify trends in the sales funnel — such as average time to conversion, source performance, and engagement by segment — and support regular reporting to help the team make data-driven decisions.
What You Should Bring To The Team:
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Internship or project-based experience in sales, CRM management, or marketing operations is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Comfortable working with data, metrics, and CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a bonus)
- Naturally detail-oriented and organized in your workflow
- Self-starter who is motivated to learn and take ownership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curious about sales psychology, automation tools, and lifecycle marketing
- Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally
- Positive, energetic, and ready to roll up your sleeves
- Located in Florida

Hours, Availability, & Location
Part-time internship with flexible hours during regular business hours
Compensation will be $14.00 per hour
Internship may be eligible for course credit, depending on your school's program
