Job Description:

Responsable Commercial(e) with expertise in the Automotive & Manufacturing Industry, to join our DXC Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Sales team within the Consulting & Engineering Services (CES).

Responsibilities

  • Identify new commercial opportunities proactively and creatively with existing and potential clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to conquer new markets and achieve sales targets, while managing the different stages of the sales cycle
  • Meet annual objectives: generate leads and close them until signing
  • Design and orchestrate solution concepts and proposals, including defining a winning price, within the CES offerings perimeter
  • Maintain a solid sales pipeline while continuously sensitizing clients to DXC solutions, products, prices, and competitive advantages
  • Negotiate creatively and effectively; convert opportunities into contracts/orders
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to foster sales growth
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synergy between departments
  • Introduce process improvements and innovative technologies into the commercial approach
  • Participate in commercial negotiations and contribute to the finalization of agreements

Profile sought

  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in the sector, including at least 3 years in a similar position
  • Good understanding of the client ecosystem in the automotive and manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of modern technologies in key areas: consulting, enterprise and custom applications, data & AI, software development, engineering services, smart manufacturing, and software-defined vehicles
  • Proven experience in sales and commercial activation
  • Established and trusted client relationships are an asset
  • Mastery of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market analysis
  • Curious, with a willingness for continuous learning and active monitoring of the industry and technology
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP)) appreciated
