Job Description

The purpose of this role is sales of new merchant accounts. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales Ireland SMB UK & Ireland. The role involves developing profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts. It also includes identifying business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services. The role requires making sales presentations to existing and prospective clients, informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. It also involves implementing and maintaining an effective referral network and call program to promote sales. The role manages the ongoing account relationship with existing customers and establishes and maintains internal relationships. It also requires establishing and maintaining good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.

The role requires competencies such as collaboration, customer centricity, drive for results, agility and innovation, risk management, and ethics and trust. It also requires technical competencies such as experience in a business-to-business direct sales role, track record in creating a sales pipeline, and commercial and financial acumen. The role requires 2 years of B2B sales experience and financial services experience is beneficial.
