Enterprise Account Executive

Today, hundreds of thousands of researchers across biomedicine, health economics, and computer science use Elicit to push the frontier of what's possible.

We've reached strong product-market fit and are seeing significant inbound interest from leading research-driven enterprises. Now we're hiring our first Enterprise Account Executive to turn that momentum into transformative impact and help shape how AI supports high-stakes scientific work for years to come.

As our first dedicated Account Executive in Europe, you'll define how Elicit lands and expands in complex enterprise environments like life sciences, biotech, and pharma. You'll partner directly with our founders and product team to craft strategy, build playbooks, and close high-value deals that change how research gets done. This role is a chance to help create a new category at the intersection of AI and science.

You'll own and close enterprise deals, manage the full sales cycle for key opportunities, from discovery through demo, proposal, negotiation, and signature. You'll run highly consultative sales processes, map complex research workflows, uncover pain points, and co-develop solutions with researchers, scientists, and executives. You'll tailor technical value, translate AI capabilities into tangible business and research outcomes, and expand accounts by landing pilot programs, cultivating champions, and growing relationships to drive multi-year, multi-team expansion within major organizations. You'll shape our motion by working with founders and product to refine messaging, remove friction from pilots, and build a repeatable enterprise sales playbook. You'll contribute to team growth by sharing learnings, mentoring junior team members, and helping establish a culture of excellence in sales. You'll be the voice of the customer, capturing and communicating nuanced industry requirements to influence product direction.

You may be a good fit if you have 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, including at least 4-5 years selling into complex, research-driven domains (biotech, pharma, healthcare, or advanced technology). A proven track record of exceeding quota and closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals. Experience navigating long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders from technical users to C-level executives. Fluency in technical conversations, with the ability to translate product features into clear business and scientific value. Existing relationships in life sciences, biotech, or healthcare enterprises (a plus, not a must). Consultative selling expertise, with an ability to build trust, handle objections, and guide customers through transformational change. Curiosity about science and research, and excitement to partner with experts pushing the frontiers of knowledge.

Bonus experience includes background in scientific research, biotech/pharma, or R&D tools; experience selling horizontal SaaS or AI platforms; exposure to product-led growth or hybrid sales motions; history of mentoring other sellers or shaping early-stage go-to-market.
