We're looking for an energetic, confident self-starter to join our Sales team. This is a junior-level role designed for someone who's hungry to learn the ropes of sales, build relationships, and make a real impact from day one.
You'll be our go-to person for uncovering opportunities within our client base, keeping us front of mind in the Birmingham office, and supporting our senior team with research, meeting setup, and lead generation. You'll need to be confident with both net new business and cold outreach – this role isn't just about farming existing accounts but helping us plant seeds with new ones.
You'll work closely with our Client Director (strategy lead) and Senior Account Managers (relationship builders and proposal experts). Think of yourself as the engine behind the team – spotting new opportunities and nudging doors open. There'll be occasional travel (once a quarter) to London, Manchester, or Edinburgh for team catch-ups or client meetings.
As most of the team are based in London or working remotely, staying active on internal channels and making the effort to attend team socials and events will be important to remain connected and integrated with the wider team.
Mining client data to uncover "hidden" opportunities for the team to pursue
Proactively setting up meetings for senior sales team members
Being a visible face of the Presentations team in the Birmingham office, keeping colleagues aware of what we do and drumming up interest
Supporting proposal preparation and sales materials where needed
Maintaining and updating our CRM (Pipedrive) with client insights, meeting notes, and new leads
Helping to coordinate follow-ups and ensuring opportunities don't fall through the cracks
Attending occasional client meetings or industry events with senior team members to learn and grow in the role
Taking initiative with new business and cold outreach to expand our client base
Someone early in their sales career with 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or sales support role, with the confidence to grow into more
A self-starter who's not afraid of cold outreach or opening new doors
Excellent people skills – you're curious, approachable, and love a good conversation
A natural problem solver with a nose for opportunities and detail
Comfortable working independently but also as part of a close-knit team
Organised and proactive – you like to stay one step ahead
CRM experience is a bonus, but not essential. We'll teach you what you need to know
Willingness to travel to other offices (London, Manchester, Edinburgh) once a quarter
A team player who'll make the effort to stay socially and professionally connected with the wider team
You'll get to work with a talented sales team and learn from experienced strategists and relationship builders
You'll be part of a friendly, creative wider team who are known for their strong, supportive culture
A chance to develop a real career in sales/account management – this is a springboard role
Hybrid working (3 days in Birmingham office, 2 from home)
Exposure to big-name clients and high-profile projects
A supportive, ambitious, and creative environment where your ideas will be heard
Team trips, outings, and socials throughout the year
