Role Overview
As the Sales Director at Empiria Group, you will lead the overall sales strategy and operations across Empiria Group's portfolio of properties, with the objective of maximizing revenue and market share across all business verticals, including rooms, events and leisure facilities. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in luxury hospitality sales, a strong network within the travel trade and corporate markets, and the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious goals within a dynamic hospitality organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of sales operations across all properties within the group, ensuring the achievement of annual revenue goals and market share objectives.
- Strategically position new hotel projects as premier destinations within targeted markets, with key focus in the US.
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue and Marketing Management teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team, driving the achievement of the hotel's key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to foster continuous development and performance excellence.
- Successfully manage relationships with Sales Representatives in key markets.
- Drive B2B and B2C business development, identifying new market opportunities and partnerships across all segments, including leisure, OTA channels, events and MICE.
- Establish, monitor, and manage the annual sales budget, ensuring resource optimization and cost efficiency.
- Understand and evaluate Bi reporting in order to analyze customer production, evaluate sales staff performance, and develop action plans to achieve targets in target markets.
- Establishes and maintains strong collaborative relationships with all Division Heads and actively contributes as a key member of the senior management team.
- Represent the Group at key trade shows, client events, and international sales road trips, strengthening relationships with key partners, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Uphold and promote the unique Empiria Group brand identity and culture, ensuring all communications and initiatives reflect the company's values and service philosophy.
