Job Opportunity

Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned customers on a regular basis to promote products, relate new product information and receive feedback on the company's products and services
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, an annual sales quota
  • Organize and manage educational activities including regular trainings, workshops, university training programs and promoting Kerr events in India
  • Visit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporation
  • Understand and support the Kerr sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all Kerr customers
  • Relate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluation
  • Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations
  • Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the Head of Sales
  • Collect and report competitive information to Marketing Management
  • Prepare periodic reports including:
    • weekly call reports
    • monthly expense reports
    • periodic general reports
    • other reports as assigned

Desired work experience, education & skills

  • Bachelor's in business, Economics or equivalent
  • Up to 4 years sales and general business experience
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured work environment
  • Willingness to operate in an international environment
  • Fluent in local language and English
  • Previous experience within the medical devices, life sciences
