- The Account Executive will focus on net new revenue and be a key player in the Field Sales organization at Workday.
- This role involves developing strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities within the assigned territory.
- The Account Executive will perform account planning and coordinate with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- The position requires initiating and supporting sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects.
- Maintaining accurate and timely customer/prospect data, pipeline, and service forecast data is a critical responsibility.

- The ideal candidate will have approximately 8+ years of experience in selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions, particularly in ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics.
- A successful candidate will have a proven track record of negotiating deals with C-level executives and closing opportunities effectively.
- The role requires experience in a high-velocity sales cycle, including the ability to prospect and generate leads within a designated territory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and presenting Workday's value propositions.
- The candidate should have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the industry to position Workday solutions effectively.
