Senior Sales Manager

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will drive business growth by selling Experian's data and solutions to the Enterprise Insurance Accounts in Germany, while building long-term customer relationships. You will also coordinate the internal sales team, represent the company at industry events, and identify market trends to enhance our offerings.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling Experian data, solutions and services in the core target group Insurance for Germany
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
  • Identify new market opportunities and manage sales pipeline
  • Coordinate the internal selling team (from consultants to senior management) around your own customers
  • Represent our company at industry events, in collaboration with other colleagues
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through excellent customer service and regular communication
  • Serve as the internal first point of contact for identifying market trends, customer needs, and innovation potential for the further development of Experian's solution
  • Uphold and promote Experian's core values in all interactions and activities.

Responsibility, e.g. budget, key deliverables:

  • Modernization of existing customers to the latest data products
  • Unlocking cross-selling potential (e.g., platform solutions, cloud services)
  • Expansion into a one-stop shop across risk, pricing, actuarial, identity, and fraud domains

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Several years of professional sales experience, ideally in insurance industry
  • Proven track record in sales and new customer acquisition
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Collaborative mindset: both in working with new clients and with internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of complex data products and services
  • Content expertise and own network in insurance industry (risk, actuariat, fraud)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Content expertise and own network in insurance industry (risk, actuariat, fraud)
  • Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)
  • Experience in data and software-related sales (SaaS and Cloud solutions)
