SCHEDULE: Full Time, Hybrid TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 10%

COMPENSATION: $72,380.00 to $137,777.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.

About Our Opportunity

The Sales and Financial Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive sales training and enablement programs that drive performance in sales and relationship roles. This role focuses on equipping team members with the tools, knowledge, and skills to succeed throughout the entire sales lifecycle while strengthening financial and credit acumen. The position also contributes to professional development efforts through facilitation of soft skills training classes and leadership workshops in collaboration with sales leadership.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Designs and implements training programs that support the full sales process, from prospecting through application and closing.
  • Develops curriculum and tools to enhance financial acumen and credit understanding.
  • Partners with sales and relationship leaders to identify training needs and performance gaps.
  • Facilitates professional development and leadership workshops as needed.
  • Leverages data analytics, reporting, and performance metrics to refine strategies, improve user experience, and drive business growth.
  • Applies instructional design techniques to design, deliver, and measure training solutions tailored to the specific needs of the business.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry best-practices and integrates them into sales enablement strategies.
  • Utilizes learning technologies and digital content platforms to scale training delivery.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to facilitate communication, alignment, and measurable success.
  • Analyzes business requirements, models workflows, and translates needs into actionable strategies or system enhancements.
  • Provides expert guidance and problem-solving support to internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.

Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience required. A developing learning and development professional with foundational expertise designing and developing sales training experiences, classroom facilitation, project management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. Works under moderate supervision, focusing on tactical execution, data analysis, and operational support. Ideal for candidates building their strategic thinking and business acumen within a structured environment. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Mental & Physical Requirements

While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
