Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative in the Dallas Fort Worth area to represent our employee-owned company in the field—building relationships, promoting air filtration products, and driving revenue growth. This role combines face-to-face customer engagement with product expertise, pricing accuracy, and vendor coordination, all supported by Oracle ERP tools and a culture of shared success. Professionalism, experience in B2B sales, and the ability to handle multiple priorities are required.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
Pay: $70,000 base + commission + phenomenal benefits including medical insurance for you and your family, completely paid by the company!
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Territory Development
- Travel to customer sites to present products and solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate filtration products
Sales & Quoting
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes using Oracle ERP
- Maintain and update list pricing and customer-specific pricing agreements
- Negotiate terms and close sales with professionalism and integrity
Order & Vendor Coordination
- Place orders for required products with vendors—including Glasfloss Industries
- Track vendor order status and communicate delivery timelines to customers
- Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure fulfillment
ERP System Support (Oracle)
- Enter and manage customer orders, pricing, and vendor transactions
- Generate reports and assist with territory performance tracking
- Identify and escalate system issues or pricing discrepancies
Ownership Culture Engagement
- Participate in ESOP education and employee-owner meetings
- Uphold company values in all customers and team interactions
- Contribute ideas for process improvement and shared success
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of outside sales experience in a product-based or distribution environment
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems (Order Management, Pricing, or Procurement modules)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned
