Our client is a market leader in supplying high-quality labeling solutions across multiple market sectors across the Caribbean. Due to growth in the Manufacturing/Food Processing Sectors, they are seeking to add a professional to the sales team based in Barbados to focus on increasing market share across the English-Speaking Caribbean region.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prospect and generate leads, identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and industry events.
• Qualify prospects, approach and nurture potential customers, towards successfully closing sales for the company.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their business objectives and providing customized label printing solutions and services.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to determine their label printing requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions which maximize customer and company objectives.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring all details are clear and comprehensive.
• Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our label printing capabilities, highlighting the benefits and advantages of our products and services.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company towards meeting the annual sales target.
• Work closely with the internal sales support (Customer Experience Representatives) and production teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
• Build and maintain internal customer relationships and serve as a liaison between production/pre-press and the customer.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Make outbound calls to customers, as necessary. Receive and respond to inbound customer calls, emails and inquiries.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
• Responsible for entering jobs into the system, in conjunction with Customer Experience Representatives.
• Perform all required research for repeat orders with changes and new label projects to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate and consult with customers on artwork elements and overall design of label. Gather accurate information and art files to be submitted as preflight to pre-press.
Requirements:
• Minimum BSc. or equivalent in a Business-related discipline.
• Sales-related training is a distinct advantage.
• Proven proactive sales background in a target driven environment.
• Competent with both transactional and consultative sales methodologies.
• Familiar with MIS data-entry for sales order processing.
• Track record of selling to multiple Caribbean islands useful but not essential.
• Clean driving license.
• Must possess a valid passport/willing to travel regionally.
