Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To achieve the specific sales targets and KPIs as agreed by management.
  • To maintain and expand the key customer base within assigned accounts by monitoring and analyzing sales trends, preparing quarterly business review plans, and updating each account accordingly.
  • To plan and customize promotional activities, ensuring that all promotions are executed and implemented in accordance with the approved SPPF.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, key customers, and trade partners.
  • To manage trade investments and promotional budgets based on the approved SPPF allocations.
  • To ensure proper product positioning through effective merchandising and standardized display, following the planogram guidelines set by each assigned customer.
  • To explore new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and expanding product distribution in the market.
  • To ensure healthy customer account ageing by monitoring payments within agreed terms, and to resolve disputes through timely account reconciliation.
  • To manage market returns, ensuring timely collection and minimizing return volumes from trade outlets.
  • To provide market intelligence reports, including competitor activities and market visit updates, with a minimum of two reports per month.
  • To monitor and manage sales performance by compiling and analyzing sales figures for assigned channels.
  • To negotiate with trade buyers on pricing, promotions, product listings, space rentals, special activities, and annual trading agreements.
  • To liaise closely with the supply chain and demand planning teams to forecast stock requirements and ensure timely replenishment at retail outlets, preventing out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
  • To ensure customer pricing is updated in the SAP system according to approved price-setting decisions.
  • To ensure successful listing and distribution of newly launched products in all managed accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in food or household products.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with good analytical ability.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
