As a Senior Sales Executive, you will drive new business growth for FIS Market Data Analyzer – Energy Edition across Europe. You will work with energy traders, commodity risk teams, utilities, investment firms, and financial institutions to help them modernize their energy-data workflows and enhance market-driven decision making. This is a senior, consultative sales role requiring strong domain knowledge of energy markets, data platforms, and analytics workflows, as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders within complex organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for energy-focused market-data and analytics solutions across Europe.
- Acquire new clients across energy traders, utilities, commodity houses, hedge funds, banks, and risk-analytics teams.
- Manage a strong and transparent sales pipeline from early prospecting to contract signature.
- Engage senior trading, risk, analytics, technology, data, and procurement stakeholders to understand their operational challenges and data-quality needs.
- Position Market Data Analyzer – Energy Edition as a best-in-class solution for improved energy-market insight, accelerated analytics, and cost-efficient data consumption.
- Collaborate closely with presales, product management, and delivery teams to develop tailored demos, POCs, and commercial proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on energy market trends (power, gas, LNG, renewables, emissions), data vendor landscape, and regulatory considerations.
- Ensure accurate CRM reporting, forecasting, and pipeline visibility.
- Represent FIS at energy-sector events, conferences, and thought-leadership forums to deepen market presence and credibility.
What you'll bring:
- A proven track record in financial technology or market-data sales, ideally within the energy, commodities, or analytics domains.
- Strong understanding of energy-market fundamentals, data workflows, risk analytics, and real-time/derived-curve data usage.
- Experience selling to trading desks, commodity groups, utilities, and financial institutions with energy exposure.
- Ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and influence C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, solution-selling, and storytelling capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience shaping value propositions for data and analytics platforms.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are highly advantageous.
