Sales Operations Manager

The Sales Operations Manager is a critical member of the commercial team, responsible for enabling scalable and data-driven growth. This role supports the sales organization with analytics, systems, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing environments, understands the complexities of B2B markets, and can optimize operations in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.

Minimum Knowledge, Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years in Sales Operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment.
  • Experience supporting sales in multiple vertical markets (e.g., electronics, medical, automotive, packaging).
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems – Oracle Cloud preferred, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of roll-to-roll converting, printing, or coating processes is highly desirable.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience creating dashboards and reports to track team and sales performance.
  • Passionate about the voice of the customer.
  • Mindset for continuous improvement utilizing LEAN principles and leading team through change, prior experience with lean implementation would be an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Process & CRM Management

  • Work with CRM administrator and internal stakeholders and sales teams to enhance utilization and effectiveness of Salesforce across the commercial organization.
  • Develop and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, accountability, and performance.
  • Monitor lead-to-order and order-to-cash processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

Sales Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on KPIs, forecasts, pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and territory performance.
  • Partner with finance and marketing to develop revenue models, forecasts, and sales incentive plans.
  • Analyze customer and market data to support strategic decisions.

Sales Enablement

  • Support onboarding and training of sales team members.
  • Ensure sales teams have access to the right tools, content, and collateral.
  • Develop playbooks and process documentation to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to align global sales strategies with local execution.
  • Support initiatives for new product launches or market expansion in coordination with product management.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Work with sales and supply chain teams to support accurate demand forecasting.
  • Align sales forecasts with production capabilities and customer delivery timelines.

Based on region, the expected salary range for this remote position is $98,000 - $173,000.
