This is a unique opportunity for the experienced and well-connected (senior) Sales Executive that you are to be in the driver's seat of building up a business, growing it aggressively and leaving your mark in the market. You will be part of a high performing and engaged commercial team equally excited as you to build up Flexport's Belgian presence and to solve customer problems with tech-enabled freight forwarding.

You will be:

  • Building and growing Flexport Belgium together with your colleagues, our ambitions are high!
  • Identifying good fit clients - both self-prospected and generated by your SDR team
  • Consulting with new clients to understand their supply chain needs and pains
  • Creating a value add solution, demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings
  • Closing the deal - that goes without saying!
  • Leading the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams
  • You'll be joining a sales team with a lot of emphasis on growth, combining great culture, a place to succeed and focus on career development make this a fun & dynamic place to work.

Your contribution:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a Freight forwarding / Logistics domain carrying sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals in the Belgian market.
  • Experience of the logistics industry is essential with the freight forwarding industry strongly preferred
  • You are not afraid of cold-calling prospects if you believe there is an opportunity to win
  • Experience managing accounts and creating an outstanding experience for clients
  • You have a genuine interest in technology and you understand the significance of companies using technology to manage their supply chains in the most efficient way
  • You also have a genuine interest towards your clients, which you leverage in leading value adding discovery calls to uncover current processes and pain points.
  • A fast learning ability, a strong work ethic, and a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the Benelux
  • Fluent Flemish and English (French is a pré)
