Regional Sales Executive

Job Summary:
FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions (IIS), a division of Teledyne FLIR, is looking for a customer-centric Regional Sales Executive who is passionate about technology and how it solves customer problems. The successful candidate will be looking to accelerate their sales career by managing and growing our established distribution network. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned region or market segment.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Maintain customer, contact and opportunity records in CRM to ensure healthy funnel and pipeline management and growth.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for new business and upsell potential to increase share-of-wallet within established accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Obtain accurate product forecast details to support monthly/quarterly Sales Operations forecast cycles
- New Customer Acquisition:
- Utilize prospecting techniques to identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that generate leads and drive business growth.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular territory reviews including, forecasts, opportunity progress and win/loss to senior management.
- Along with Sales Operations, analyze performance data and trends within your defined region to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and build industry connections
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, account management, and business development
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on responding promptly and meeting commitments made to customers
- Strong work ethic with positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things
- Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Verbal and written communication skill in English is a must
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the uses and technical capabilities of industrial digital cameras and/or experience in the Machine Vision Industry is an asset
- Familiarity with hardware based sales and the Electronics, Manufacturing, or Robotics industries
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
