What you'll do:

• Conduct in-home consultations, listening closely to customer needs and providing tailored flooring recommendations
• Present a wide range of flooring options, balancing style, function, and budget
• Manage the customer journey from initial contact through final installation, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience
• Collaborate with our team while also managing your own sales pipeline independently
• Stay current on flooring products, design trends, and installation processes

Qualifications for success:

• 2+ years of in-home or outside sales experience (flooring knowledge is a must)
• Strong flooring knowledge and an understanding of materials, trends, and installation processes
• Detail-oriented & process-driven: ability to manage multiple client interactions seamlessly
• Exceptional follow-through: ensure customers feel supported throughout the entire process
• Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills: ability to connect, advise, and influence purchasing decisions
• Able to work independently, yet collaboratively: confident in managing your own sales pipeline while contributing to team goals
• Self-motivated & goal-oriented: thrive in a performance-driven environment
• Problem-solving & negotiation skills: address client concerns and ensure satisfaction
• Integrity & professionalism: maintain high ethical standards in all interactions
• Tech-savvy: comfortable using technology for scheduling, quoting, and communication
• Valid driver's license: required for travel to customer locations
