Nearpod is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales, West to join the sales team in a leadership capacity. The ideal candidate must be an effective mentor, strategist, and communicator who can take a proactive, consultative approach in developing hard-working sales teams. This role would report directly to the Vice President of Sales, US K12, and work closely with customer success, sales development, enablement, operations, product, marketing, and finance staff. You will lead a team of approximately 19 individuals, including 2 Sales Managers and approximately 17 Sales Representatives. The Sales Managers are passionate about mentoring sales reps on skills and strategy, holding sales reps accountable to meeting clear expectations, presenting key information to sales reps, communicating accurate forecast to the RVP, and participating in cross functional meetings focused on driving overall improvement. The Sales Representatives are focused on closing new and expansion opportunities, crafting sufficient pipeline to predict success, changing existing pipeline through sales stages effectively, and communicating with prospects effectively and with the appropriate cadence.
