Our client is seeking a Direct Hire Outside Sales Representative in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a full-time opportunity for a highly experienced industrial automation sales professional with established territory relationships and a proven track record in competitive markets.
The organization is known for its technical depth, customer focused approach, and long term relationships. The environment is fast-paced, performance driven, and built around collaboration, growth, and solution-based selling.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will own a defined territory and be responsible for sales, marketing, and technical support across OEM, distribution, engineering, and consulting customers. This position is designed for a senior-level professional who excels in relationship-driven sales and consultative solutions—not transactional or entry level selling. Actively calling on targeted accounts including OEMs, panel shops, system integrators, UL508A shops, and distributor partners. Driving new business by strategically targeting direct competitors and high-impact market segments while avoiding restricted organizations as directed. Maintaining strong communication between customers, internal marketing teams, and factory personnel to support new business, technical assistance, and project execution. Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with channel partners and key customers within the territory. Leading internal efforts to respond quickly and effectively to unique business opportunities. Participating in strategic planning and territory growth initiatives, supporting leadership in target setting and market expansion. Creating customer-tailored solutions through collaboration across engineering, operations, and sales. Consistently achieving revenue growth through proactive selling, account development, and solution-based sales execution.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred). 10+ years of outside sales, marketing, or business development experience within industrial controls, safety automation, or related automation products. Proven expertise with LV & MV control products, including circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, enclosures, and associated hardware. Established customer relationships and active accounts within the assigned territory. Experience selling to OEMs, system integrators, UL508A panel shops, distributors, contractors, consultants, and EPC organizations. A track record of succeeding in competitive markets and engaging professionals already performing in similar roles.
Competitive base salary with performance-based incentive plan. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Paid time off and company holidays. Strong leadership support and collaborative sales culture. Entrepreneurial, partnership-driven environment. Opportunity to work with complex industrial systems and top-tier customers. Long-term career growth within a technically focused organization.
