Application Manager Sales (m/w/d) For Dairy Separation

Bei GEA in Oelde, we manufacture state-of-the-art centrifuges and separation technologies on an 85,000 m² production site. Our solutions—including separators, decanters, and complete system solutions—enable the efficient separation of liquids and solids and support a wide range of industries worldwide. To strengthen our Dairy Sales Team, we are looking for an Application Manager Sales (m/w/d) for the Dairy Separation area with a focus on decanter applications such as casein and lactose at our Oelde location.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Technical sales of machines, systems, and process technology in applications to end customers through our country subsidiaries or agents
• Direct and indirect product-related sales promotion, consulting the sales functions in country subsidiaries and, if applicable, end customers
• Customer support with sales functions in country subsidiaries
• Identifying and recording product-related customer needs, internal implementation in product development in collaboration with the specialist departments
• Technical clarification of inquiries in coordination with the specialist departments
• Creating and developing offers for decanters and separators as well as process lines
• Coordinating the process technology solution; determining the required process technology
• Collaborating on sales tools
• Business development activities
• Possibly taking over key account functions

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Relevant technical university degree or technician in the field of food/dairy or process engineering
• Professional experience in the dairy/food industry or in machinery and plant construction of comparable industries
• Affinity for process applications
• Decanter knowledge desirable
• Good German and English language skills in speech and writing; other languages desirable
• Knowledge of SAP, CRM, and MS Office
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
• Sales and negotiation skills
