You will have around six talented colleagues who are passionate about creating value for customers and delivering high-quality solutions. Our atmosphere is welcoming, and there is room for both ideas, initiative, and professional development.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for both customer care and the development of new business opportunities – with a special focus on process solutions within the environment and chemistry. You will cover the Nordic market and work on everything from planning and sales strategy to ongoing customer dialogue – always in close collaboration with both internal and external partners.

Although your primary focus is the Nordic region, you will become a part of a larger international sales organization in the EMEA region, where collaboration and coordination across borders is a natural part of everyday life.

Your tasks will include:

  • Prepare sales budgets and plans for your area in accordance with the company’s overall goals
  • Identify, qualify, and follow up on new customer leads and projects in close dialogue with the market
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners – focusing on trust and transparency
  • Collaborate with colleagues across GEA’s business areas in environmental technology, chemistry, and pharma, as well as other key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the strategic and operational sales development in your part of the business
  • Use digital tools (CRM/SAP) to create structure and overview in the sales work

You can expect around 50 travel days per year in the Nordic region – primarily in connection with customer meetings and internal collaboration.

You thrive in a role where you both work strategically and relationally – and where you have the opportunity to combine technical insight with business understanding. You are curious, attentive, and enjoy working across cultures and professional boundaries.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a technical university degree – preferably in process technology or a related field
  • Have experience in B2B sales, e.g., of capital equipment (e.g., larger technical solutions for the industry) or consulting services – preferably with a focus on creating new customer relationships
  • Are accustomed to using digital tools and data as part of your sales work
  • Have an interest in technology and development and are motivated by finding solutions that create value
  • Master English fluently in writing and speaking and can present ideas clearly and convincingly.
