We are seeking a driven, proactive Hygiene Sales Specialist with expertise in the farming sector to grow sales, improve profitability, and deliver exceptional customer service across the Southwest area (Launceston, Wadebridge, Bodmin, St Austell, Truro, Falmouth).
Sales and Revenue Growth
Drive sales growth and profitability by promoting farm solutions including hygiene, cleaning products, udder care, and sanitation programs, tailored to dairy farming needs.
Identify and maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the hygiene product range.
Delivering competitive hygiene products direct to farm to meet the needs of the customers.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
Build strong relationships with the farming community, understanding customer needs and providing tailored hygiene solutions.
Present and promote key hygiene solutions to improve milk quality, equipment longevity, and overall farm efficiency.
Product Expertise and Solutions Selling
Provide expert advice on hygiene product use, best practices, and integration with existing systems.
Hygiene solutions for milking equipment.
Teat care and mastitis prevention.
Develop an understanding of all farming solutions including:

Slurry management and sanitation processes.
Water treatment and cleaning protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends and customer pain-points to offer relevant solutions.
Campaign Management and Delivery
Execute impactful hygiene sales campaigns across the Southwest region.
Partner with dealerships to effectively target the customer base and increase market share.
Customer Loyalty and Event Representation
Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through consistent engagement, follow-ups, and support.
Represent GEA Farm Technologies at county and national farming events (as required) to maintain visibility and foster long-term relationships.
Sales Administration and Planning
Prepare and present competitive sales quotes for hygiene products.
Plan and product delivery route and inform customers of timelines to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
Manage inventory requirements and liaise with internal stakeholders for seamless order processing.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Strong background in agriculture, particularly dairy farming.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are mandatory.
3+ years' experience in sales or after-sales, ideally within hygiene products for the agricultural sector.
Commercially driven with a customer-focused mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with hygiene standards, agricultural tools, and dairy farm management practices.
Strong communication, adaptability, and decision-making skills.
Passionate about improving farm efficiency, animal welfare, and hygiene standards.
A dynamic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment who is able to promote business and develop customer relations.
Willingness to travel across the Southwest region to meet customers and attend events.
Must hold a valid Category B driving license and be able to conduct multi-drop rounds.
A forklift truck licence is preferable.
