Sales Trainer, Enterprise and International

GeneDx delivers personalized and actionable health insights to inform diagnosis, direct treatment, and improve drug discovery. The company is uniquely positioned to accelerate the use of genomic and large-scale clinical information to enable precision medicine as the standard of care.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Trainer, focused on Enterprise and International sales to lead the development and delivery of sales training programs for our enterprise-level and international sales teams, with a specific focus on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. This is a high-impact role designed to equip field teams with the clinical knowledge, consultative selling skills, and strategic insight necessary to drive adoption of advanced rare disease genetic testing solutions across global markets.

The ideal candidate will blend a deep understanding of NICU clinical workflows, complex hospital systems, and international healthcare environments with a strong background in sales enablement and adult learning principles. This role plays a critical part in shaping the customer engagement strategy across geographies and enterprise-level accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored training programs for enterprise and international sales teams targeting hospital systems (including C-suite leadership), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and stakeholders in NICUs.
  • Develop training content that integrates clinical acumen (especially in neonatal genetics), value-based selling, and stakeholder mapping in complex hospital networks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regional Business Units to align training with global strategy, local market needs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead new hire onboarding, as well as ongoing field training for international and enterprise sales reps.
  • Incorporate field intelligence, market trends, and competitive insights into training strategies for enhanced field readiness.
  • Leverage multiple learning formats—live, virtual, e-learning—to reach geographically dispersed teams efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives using performance data, feedback, and KPIs; make data-driven improvements.
  • Act as a global resource for adapting U.S.-based training to regional variations in clinical practice, healthcare systems, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Continuously update training materials based on product launches, market changes, and field feedback.
  • Enable and facilitate thoughtful pull through training and content for relevant competencies as well as stretch topics.
  • Build meaningful and reliable lines of transparent communication amongst end users, including Strategic Account Directors (SADs).
  • Support continuing education efforts and periodic training for tenured reps as needed.
  • Own all administrative aspects of this role. This includes LMS components, slide decks, enablement resources, calendar invites, follow up emails, etc.
