The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the sales force through a combination of inbound & outbound efforts. They also serve as the main point of contact to build relationships with incoming calls and web inquiries. The role is 100% dedicated to lead management and nurturing leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns — multi-channel engagement (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, intent data) to identify and engage key decision makers.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and field sales teams to develop account plans, map stakeholders, and surface new opportunities within existing accounts as well as net-new.
  • Transform Marketing leads to Sales Opportunities that meet a minimum defined qualification criteria.
  • Manage and nurture leads that are not yet ready to buy, using lead-nurturing workflows to build interest and readiness.
  • Follow best practices for maintaining our CRM accuracy and completeness by updating records regularly.
  • Assigns and uses lead nurturing process on ICP accounts not ready to buy.
  • Suggest new approaches and processes improvement.
  • Be an expert in CX, and to have strong knowledge of at least one industry.
  • Stay current on industry, competitive landscape, and market trends to bring insights into prospect conversations and support differentiation.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven business-to-business experience in a sales or inside sales environment.
  • Native Portuguese; Fluent English.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to engage with technical and senior executive business decision makers.
  • Strong rapport building.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, technology or related major.
  • Experience with tools, including, but not limited to: SFDC, Salesloft, 6sense, Lusha, Sales Navigator.
  • Experience using lead qualification frameworks such as BANT, MEDDPIC, MEDDIC.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office package.
  • Exceptional time and project management skills with the ability to multitask required.
  • Driven to exceed defined targets and quotas.
  • Growth Mindset and willingness to develop and grow within Genesys.
