Job Overview:

Genovice INC is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive for our client with experience in selling software solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, particularly for laboratories and manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be adept at selling complex software solutions that support GMP compliance, quality control, and operational efficiencies in labs and manufacturing environments. The role requires domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for pharmaceutical software solutions.
  • Identify and engage potential clients within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, focusing on laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and research organizations.
  • Manage sales team
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering product demonstrations, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and offering tailored software solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes (FDA, GMP), and advancements in lab and manufacturing technologies to effectively communicate product value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, customer support, and marketing, to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote solutions and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., in GMP, software sales) are a plus.
  • Min 10-years of experience in sales, specifically within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on laboratory or manufacturing software solutions.
  • Experienced with building/managing Sales team
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical processes, particularly GxP, regulatory compliance, and lab/manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex software solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Must be able to travel frequently
