Sales Manager (B2B)

Our client, a long-established and family-owned B2B distribution company, serves the food, beverage, and cosmetics industries with high-quality raw materials, functional ingredients, and reliable service. They combine technical expertise, certified processes, and a customer-centric mindset to ensure secure supply, competent consulting, and sustainable business practices. To support their continued growth in Eastern Europe, our client is now seeking a motivated Sales Manager (B2B) for Eastern Austria, Slovenia, Croatia. This home-office-based role offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape regional business development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Sales Manager Flavours and Food Ingredients Distribution

Important: Must have for this position is Sales Experience in AT, Slovenia, Croatia

Tasks

  • Home office based
  • Fluent in English and Germany
  • Products are Flavours & Food Ingredients like Colours for Beverages/Dairy/Sweet/Savoury/Culinary
  • We are looking for the sales hungry candidate
  • During the training period, you will stay longer in the European Head Quarter with a bigger application centre

Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Develop and expand long-term customer relationships
  • Actively identify and acquire new B2B customers within Eastern Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary

Sales Planning & Budget Responsibility

  • Plan, implement, and achieve the regional sales budget
  • Ensure the fulfilment of overall sales targets

Project & Offer Management

  • Manage and close sales projects
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on offers, and implement measures to strengthen customer loyalty

Contract & Win-Back Management

  • Conduct customer loss analyses
  • Develop win-back strategies
  • Create and monitor contracts, including action plans for deviations

Complaint Management & Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional handling of feedback and complaints

Sales Reporting & Representation

  • Prepare sales reports and analyses to steer sales activities
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology or similar
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking
  • You have a valid driving license Must have
  • Must have for this position is Sales Experience in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia Flavours and/or Food Ingredients
  • Mandatory: Knowledge of the food or beverage industry, or relevant technical expertise
  • Confident use of MS Office and experience with an ERP system
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • High willingness to travel across the assigned region
