For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, acting in Europe, Africa and West Asia we are looking for a Norway Country/Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients Distribution. You will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry Markets Norway. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry. Target is to open a Sales office in Norway. This is a B2B job and not for candidates from Hotels, Restaurants etc.

Tasks

• Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
• Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups
• Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
• Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
• Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
• Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
• Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers
• You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
• Discover and understand customer's needs and develop tailor-made solutions
• Conduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customers
• Follow up offers, payments, …
• Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts …

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology Must have
• Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
• Exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,
• High willingness to travel
• Very organized, reliable, positive thinking
• Very good knowledge of a local languages and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
• You have a valid driving license
