Turkey Country Sales Manager – Food Ingredients (Hybrid, Istanbul)

Our client, a leading global food ingredients manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across Turkey. This is a hybrid role based in Istanbul and requires a strong track record in B2B food ingredient sales.

Tasks

What You Will Do

1. Lead and grow the Turkey sales portfolio across food & beverage manufacturers
2. Manage key accounts including multinationals and major regional players
3. Drive sales of flavours, colours, extracts, powders, natural ingredients
4. Develop and execute the country sales strategy, including forecasting and budgeting
5. Identify new business opportunities and market segments
6. Lead negotiations, pricing, and long-term agreements
7. Collaborate with regional R&D, technical, and marketing teams
8. Represent the company at customer visits, events, and industry fairs
9. Travel extensively across Turkey

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience in food ingredients
• Strong network within the Turkish food & beverage industry
• Proven success selling to multinationals (dairy, beverage, bakery, confectionery, savoury, snacks)
• Experience with flavours, colours, extracts, natural ingredients, powders
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Based in Istanbul (hybrid work model)
• Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or similar

MBA is a plus
