Sales Manager Nutritional, Cosmetical and Functional Food Ingredients

GFIC is searching for a scientific driven global company specializing in high-value ingredients for nutritional, cosmetical, and functional food applications with 8 production sites, more than 500 patents and more than 100 products.

Office based in Istanbul, you will visit regularly the head office in Germany.

Area Turkey. Important is you have selling experience of supplements to food-, cosmetic and pharmaceuticals clients in Turkey to B2B clients.

You have experience of selling supplements to contract manufacturing companies or you are working for a CMO company.

You are very sales driven.

Our products are:

• phytonutrients and standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates used in the nutritional, pharmaceutical and food industries
• over 100 plant-derived products
• We provide custom manufacturing from lab scale to pilot / semi-commercial scale, and process development.
• The company selects ingredients with a long history of traditional success and conducts clinical research to confirm their efficacy.
• The products offered are certified Kosher and Halal.

Tasks

• You will be responsible for business development, sales of our products in nutritional supplements, cosmetical and functional foods areas;
• You will sell phytonutrients and standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates used in the nutritional, pharmaceutical and food industries to business to business clients;
• As a sales manager the person will be traveling 50% of the time, meeting B2B customers;

Requirements

Qualification and competence requirements:

• 5 years of work experience in B2B food ingredients / supplements sector.
• Commercial backgrounds in sales & marketing.
• A scientific degree, ideally in food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, biology or comparable.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
