The Account Manager is expected to proactively build and manage a sustainable base of business that meets and exceeds revenue and order intake objectives for a targeted list of financial institutions using Glory Global Solutions' (GGS) seven-step sales process. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be well organized and have a plan for working his/her territory. He/She will work the entire sales pipeline weekly. This starts with creating new leads, qualifying the leads, developing the opportunity, creating value, presenting solutions and closing new business. The ideal candidate will be a "Hunter", while still having the skill set to maintain and grow the business relationships in his/her assigned territory. This position will focus on Regional Bank and Credit Union prospects/customers and therefore requires strong prospecting skills to VP level+ contacts at financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
The Account Manager is expected to develop executive level relationships with customers to understand and influence their long-term business strategy and buying decisions and to utilize internal resources to provide smooth delivery, installation and training for GGS solutions.
The Account Manager is expected to travel within his/her territory as needed and will develop and execute a Personal Sales Plan that incorporates the full range of GGS products and solutions resulting in a robust pipeline and achievement of Order Intake and Revenue quotas. Additionally, he/she may be required to travel to attend trade shows or internal Glory meetings from time to time.
In addition to business development and account management of multiple opportunities through the entire sales cycle, this position will be required to support all timely corresponding sales administrative responsibilities, including using CRM software to document sales activity, manage their pipeline, and facilitate closure of opportunities.

Required Education and Qualifications
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree preferred
2-5+ years solution-based B2B sales experience
Qualifications:
A "hunter mindset" and demonstrated success in acquiring and closing new business opportunities.
The ability to provide a solution based selling approach (versus only product selling) to senior level executives in targeted financial institutions.
Must be organized, motivated and possess the ability to follow a structured sales process and develop and execute a sales plan enthusiastically.
Requires strong account management and negotiation skills.
Requires exceptional business writing and communication skills, including the ability to create, modify and powerfully deliver Power Point presentations to prospects/customers.
Prefer that Account Manager reside in Colorado, Utah or Nebraska – prefer major metro area and within 60 miles of a major airport
