- The role involves building and growing strategic partnerships with other payment companies using the GoCardless Embed product.
- The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for finding and closing new business deals across the UK&I and Europe.
- The position requires engaging with economic buyers within key accounts to secure GoCardless as a payment provider.
- The candidate will work closely with the Embed team to develop and execute a business development plan targeting prospective partners.
- Responsibilities include leading outreach efforts, commercial negotiations, and solution design, with support from Solution Engineering and Product teams.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- Previous experience in the payments industry or in fields focused on Open Banking is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with customers and articulating product benefits clearly.
- The candidate should have experience selling to CxO level executives and other senior stakeholders, showcasing their ability to navigate complex sales processes.
- A growth mindset is crucial, with a willingness to adapt and pivot strategies to meet team goals and drive revenue.
