Account Manager, Large Customer Sales (English, German)

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow advertising cross-channel business growth through data-motivated Point of Views (POVs) and recommendations that align with customer business goals.
  • Partner with account team members to drive business opportunities that build growth while prioritizing in-quarter delivery and quota achievement.
  • Work towards achieving customer business goals, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent experience to the customers by owning problem solving, maximizing campaign results, media planning, implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate and consult with customers and their agencies with the goal of extending relationships. Grow the customer and optimize their advertising with product expertise across all related products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline that helps to run the business and maximize business impact.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with business techniques including questioning, and issue management.
  • Experience with working and promoting Google's cross-channel products like performance (e.g., Search and PMax), upper funnel (e.g., YouTube, DemandGen) and privacy and measurement solutions.
  • Experience with managing a business portfolio in business development, customer relationship and servicing.
  • Ability to think and develop recommendations and plans.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders through thought leadership.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
