Senior Account Manager, Large Customer Sales, Finance

Mid Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting. Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients. Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications: Experience managing digital marketing/advertising campaigns and cultivating relationships with customers or agencies. Experience with Google's ad products, specifically Google Ads, GA4, and DV360. Familiarity with Google's "drive people to store" solutions. Excellent organizational, investigative, influencing and written and verbal communication skills. Track record of working cross-functionally across internal and external teams to execute strategic plans.

This role serves as a key driver of Google's advertising business growth by focusing heavily on customer success and strategic relationship management. In this role, you will build and nurture long-lasting client portfolios, fostering deep trust and rapport through exceptional communication skills. By combining strong business acumen with an understanding of client business models and KPIs, you will seamlessly translate customer needs into tailored, winning Google Ads strategies. At its core, the position requires end-to-end ownership of the advertising campaign life-cycle. Working both autonomously and alongside cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for planning, launching, troubleshooting, and continuously optimizing Google Ads campaigns to maximize performance. This process is heavily anchored in robust data analysis; you will navigate internal tools to identify market trends, mitigate risks, and deliver actionable, data-driven insights that improve business outcomes for clients.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google's full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for clients and agencies, building strong relationships to deeply understand their business objectives, identify business opportunities, and confidently pitch tailored Google Ads solutions. Deliver the full strategic plan for managed accounts, from initial implementation and core hygiene to continuous optimization, troubleshooting, and driving product adoption for long-term client growth. Analyze market trends, internal/external data, and campaign key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders, while accurately contributing to sales forecasting and risk mitigation. Partner seamlessly with internal Google teams and key stakeholders to develop sales strategies, size market opportunities, and deploy collaborative, cross-functional initiatives. Maintain a deep, working knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and the specific supported industry (Finance), while proactively seeking advanced training to master Google's evolving product suite and engaged edge.
