You'll build partnerships, offer consultative solutions, onboard new merchants, and address their evolving needs. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, monitoring market trends, supporting local sales initiatives, and ensuring smooth operational and administrative processes — all while continuing to sharpen your commercial and relationship-building skills.
Reached sales goals with assigned merchant leads by using Motion Standard and Virtual Engagement.
Proactively present solutions and conduct regular business reviews to help merchants expand their business through consultative selling.
Support merchants by identifying and resolving issues, including those related to merchant-funded promotions and advertising, troubleshooting, and modifying documentation or adding new outlets, entities, or brands.
Developing Joint Business Plan as collaborative action to grow merchants in the respected portfolio as the future growth driver.
Actively observe competitor movements and market movements.
Canvass regularly and onboard new merchants to increase market penetration.
Support the city's key initiatives, including Merchant Partnership, Assortment, and Merchant Spending.
Ensure timely submission and administration of advertisements, promotions, agreement changes, and additional outlets, including merchant complaints. Always report to the Area Sales Manager and seek assistance from the appropriate Person In Charge.
Develop skills, learn about new products, and attend training regularly.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a top 5 FMCG, telecommunications, or tech company, with over 1 year spent in a representative area and possessing a strong network and knowledge of the region.
Demonstrates strong business sense with a solid understanding of markets, customers, and competitors.
Has existing relationships or the ability to bridge, develop, and maintain good relationships with key partners.
Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A fact-based, number-oriented individual who can interpret data effectively to make data-driven decisions.
Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, with a self-motivated and results-driven approach.
Willing to be placed in any location within Gojek's area of operations.
As an Account Executive, you'll report to the Area Sales Manager and operate within a designated area under the Regional Operations team. You'll work closely with the Regional Sales team, including Merchant Strategy and Sales Support, and collaborate across streams such as Operations and User Growth to optimize results.
Your main focus will be building strong relationships with assigned merchants — visiting regularly to understand their needs, provide tailored advice, and help them grow their business.
