National Director Of Sales – Storm Response

The National Director of Sales – Storm Response is responsible for leading the Company's national sales efforts through strategic leadership, coaching, and oversight of a network of highly mobile event-driven sales professionals. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring alignment with the Company's goals, brand standards, and service offerings. This leadership position will play a vital role in guiding our sales team and influencing the sales strategies and customer engagement tactics.

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as a mentor and leader to the sales team by providing strategic direction, sales coaching, and ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Excel and thrive within a commercial B2B sales environment focusing on commercial roofing
  • Set clear expectations and implement best-in-class sales practices to foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Company's services, pricing structures, and competitive advantages to effectively position the brand in the marketplace.

Sales Representative Development & Enablement

  • Recruit, onboard, and support teams of storm response sales professionals across various regions.
  • Design and implement training programs to ensure sales representatives are equipped with the tools and knowledge to successfully promote and sell the Company's services.
  • Be fluent in utilizing sales analytics / storm data as a coaching tool to optimize sales rep / team effectiveness
  • Develop and manage incentive programs, performance tracking systems, and structured sales processes to improve sales effectiveness and retention.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and sales representative, ensuring consistent communication of product updates, marketing materials, and compliance requirements.

Customer Engagement & Sales Execution

  • Represent the Company directly to prospective and existing clients to promote services and close sales.
  • Establish and maintain long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional service, managing objections, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to secure repeat business and generate referrals.

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market trend analyses to executive leadership.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, sales representative performance, contracts, and client interactions.
  • Analyze performance data and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement.

Technical Knowledge & Industry Expertise

  • Provide documentation, drawings, and specifications to support the construction, repair, or modification of building structures.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and building codes, particularly related to roofing and construction, to maintain high levels of service quality and technical accuracy.
  • Be able to identify hail, wind and weather-related damage to all commercial roofing systems.
  • Be familiar with the insurance claim process, including presentation of contract to client.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role in the roofing / storm restoration industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations within a geographically dispersed sales force.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire high performance in autonomous teams.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to accommodate extensive travel nationally (often at last minute).
