Role is opening due to current sales manager, who has been with the company for 15+ years, is transitioning to outside sales and no longer handle day-to-day management responsibilities
Company is nearing the retirement phase of several long-tenured employees and seeking someone to walk into the future with the organization and help drive growth
Position described as moldable, with primary focus on enhancing the sales function since that is where revenue originates
Day-to-day responsibilities center on managing multiple smaller teams underneath the position, including personal interaction and coaching of the sales group
Will oversee outside sales, inside sales, and customer service teams, with managerial tasks including performance reviews, interviewing, and team building
Very limited travel; family oriented business focusses on work-life balance with 9-5 mentality, minimal to no overtime and travel only to assist outside sales teams
