Sales & Operations Manager – Building Materials

We're looking for an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to join a growing team in the building materials industry. This is a hands-on leadership role where the Sales & Operations Manager will lead sales teams, grow new markets, and ensure strong alignment between sales, design, and production.

Responsibilities:

• As the Sales & Operations Manager, recruit, train, and mentor sales and support teams
• Develop and execute sales strategies while managing your own book of business
• Build long-term relationships with builders, contractors, and distributors
• Oversee customer service and operations to ensure project success from start to finish
• Collaborate with design and production to deliver accurate quotes and on-time results
• Read blueprints and project documents; AutoCAD experience a plus

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of sales leadership or operations management in building materials, construction, or related industries
• Proven ability to grow accounts and lead teams
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Experience with forecasting, CRM systems, and KPI reporting
