Experienced Commercial Tree Sales Rep

A well-known Central San Joaquin Valley California based Wholesale Tree Nursery is looking to add an experienced commercial tree sales rep to add to their team. They offer a competitive base salary, company truck, health insurance, 401K, a great company culture, and more.

Key responsibilities include:

• Selling nut and fruit trees wholesale and commercially
• Secure B2B orders by building relationships with landscape contractors, garden centers, developers and acting as a technical advisor on tree varieties
• Growing a territory and managing existing customers
• Educating and answering questions regarding tree health, transplanting, and feeding recommendations
• Process sales through the company's POS/inventory system
• Coordinate with shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries

Qualifications for consideration:

• A strong understanding of tree/plant identification growing zones
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in horticulture or a related field
• 1 to 3 years wholesale nursery sales experience
• Full knowledge of nut and fruit trees (no citrus) both bare root and potted
• Ability to work independently and alongside a sales team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical stamina to work long hours during the busy season
• Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license
