Position Overview

As part of our growth in Europe, GreenYellow is seeking a Sales Manager (B2B) for the Portuguese market.

This is a hands-on commercial role: although the title is "Manager," it does not imply direct team management but rather the ownership and development of a personal client portfolio and accounts.

Reporting directly to the Portuguese Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving GreenYellow's business development and energy project delivery in Portugal, working closely with technical and corporate teams for support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze market opportunities to expand GreenYellow's presence in Portugal.

  • Define and implement local business strategy and co-develop the commercial action plan in line with company objectives.

  • Build a network of partners (business advisors, EPC contractors, and solar PV companies) and grow a strong portfolio of B2B customers.

  • Manage and follow up on key accounts, establishing long-term strategic relationships.

  • Engage proactively with customers, maintaining regular communication and visits.

  • Lead the preparation of commercial offers and proposals with support from technical and financial teams, including business plans.

  • Represent GreenYellow in professional events, fairs, and local organizations to strengthen brand presence.

  • Contribute to the long-term strategy of GreenYellow Portugal, with the opportunity to develop a small local team as operations grow.

Profile

  • 2–3+ years of proven experience in Sales, preferably in renewable energy, solar PV, or energy efficiency sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of the Portuguese B2B market landscape in solar PV and related energy solutions.

  • Comfortable working with financial models and PPA business plans.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a strong professional network.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive in generating leads and driving opportunities.

  • Organized, autonomous, and result-driven.

  • Languages: Portuguese (native), fluent English; French is a plus.
